Transmission Repair

the legs that hold the clutch release arm were broken. i machined a piece of alum. to fit the case to fix it. worked great.

next was to fit the gear shift lever.

now for the steering column and dash board.

i'll have to order the bits for the intermediate steering column. plan to use polished SS since those are so visible.

  1. You couldn't go into great depth, however, you provided components I need to to get help me started. I was mixed up and this very posting cut through the regular solutions that only display the lack of essence. Please do not stop creating at this grade.

  2. It looks like this is just a pretty easy transmission repair for you. I’m also planning to rebuild the transmission of my old Jetta. I think I need someone who could help me with this, or better yet, I’ll just bring it to an auto transmission shop. ->Jae Gunderson
