I have taken over the build and web site for JZRUSA
The continuation of this build will be posted on this blog.
I feel it is important to do this for those others that are building one. What I present here is just my way of doing it. I don't claim to be any kind of expert so take this for what it's worth. It's free.

LET THERE BE LIGHT
The alternator problem is fixed. The amperage draw dropped from 23 to 18 with high beam, 16 with low beam. The light output difference is amazing and I know they are not adjusted correctly in the photo so it will get even better.
Hi Fred Thanks for your comment, as Pete said I am frustrated and in desperation I have removed the mudguards and given them a first coat of paint on the underside as recommended. I have just about got her up to 60mph on one of my illegal trips around the block and she felt OK maybe a bit skittish and I will keep that toe out tip in mind, for when I can legally get her onto a good bit of road. I Really enjoy the Forum, but still a bit intimidated by you serious engineers, but I will post some photos soon Cheers Mac
The project is looking GREAT, Fred!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bob. It's been really fun.
